Lucky Number 3960

I promised more posts about Becky & Nathan's wedding, didn't I? I'm prompt!
I deliver! I'm like the mail!

When a little girl plans her wedding and dreams about the day what does she see first? What color napkins she'll use? Whether her groom will wear a cummerbund or a vest? Whether she wants dear Aunt Vera to sing during the ceremony? No. She pictures that dress! She dreams about what it will look like, how it will spin when she twirls in it, how people will whisper that she looks just like a princess. Men, you should know, we never outgrow that. Naturally...such an important decision was at the top of our list of things to find! And fast!

During Becky's quest for THE dress she must've tried on 100 different options. She tried on dresses that made her look like a cake topper. She tried on dresses that made her look like a mermaid. She tried on dresses that almost fit the bill. But, just like you should "just know" when you meet the groom, we were waiting for that moment when she walked out in a dress that started violins playing and birds chirping.

We found that dress. It's a stunner. Becky looks like a princess. Uh-maze-ing!!!

*Did you really think I'd put a picture of such an important dress on the internet for EVERYONE to see?! Nathan could be reading this! I may be a hopeless romantic, but I'm not crazy.*

When Becky swished out of that dressing room in lucky #3960 her Mom and I were in love! It's perfect. It's beaded. It's swishy. It's got this gorgeous train. It's what little girls dream about.

Best of all? Little to no alterations needed! It fits her like a glove! I think Lori (her Mom) took 4,597 pictures. Front. Back. Detail shots. Just pictures of the train. Just pictures of the bodice. Just pictures of the veil. Becky posed away and looked radiant.

For those of you that will be at this wedding in September, please bring your hankies. This girl is going to bring the house down. Nathan, you're a lucky man...your wife-to-be is gorgeous! As long as Lori and I can keep Becky from watching the crystals sparkle in the chapel light, we'll be in good shape. Becky, there'll be plenty of time for you to sparkle at the reception. In the chapel, it's business time.
