MckLinky Blog Hop : July 7th

It's time for more blog hoppin', Poods!

If you're visiting GM from MckLinky's Blog Hop, WELCOME! Feel free to check things out, and be sure to leave a comment so I can come see your little corner of the blog-o-sphere!

For this week's Hop we are to post one of our favorite pictures with the story behind it.

This picture is one that I've always held near and dear. I was just about 2-years-old in this picture, and was enjoying a little quality time with Grandpa. We're sitting in the back of the first truck my parents bought together...a little light blue Chevy. It is almost exactly what I remember when I think about growing up. Grandpa in his overalls, me "helping" him work, with a worn-out doll in tow.

Be sure to visit the other Blog Hoppers and leave them some comment love. Go here if you're interested in joining the fun!

Oh, what a sweet memory!!! This makes me want to look through pictures. Of course, the only picture I can think of is one of my brother that I think is adorable....funny how I don't recall a memorable one of myself. LOL

That is such a beautiful photo. So simple but so wonderful. I love the fact that your grandpa is just about as big as the truck. I also really like the baby doll in the photo.
I hope you have a great day!

To be a good charitable being is to have a make of openness to the world, an skill to group unsure things beyond your own pilot, that can govern you to be shattered in unequivocally exceptional circumstances for which you were not to blame. That says something very important relating to the fettle of the ethical life: that it is based on a conviction in the unpredictable and on a willingness to be exposed; it's based on being more like a shop than like a sparkler, something fairly feeble, but whose acutely item beauty is inseparable from that fragility.
