Hi, I'm Lindsay and I have fallen off the wagon.
Well, actually I had fallen off the wagon...but I caught up to that sucker and I'm firmly planted again.
No, I'm not confessing to you some deep, dark, secret habit involving Shirley Temples consumed in my closet after work. I'm talking about that age-old female struggle. You know the one...
...eating right and excercising!
Ew, right?
If you're a loyal GM Poodle you have noticed the absence of a semi-regular feature. OHF has been MIA for quite some time now. (If you're not familiar with OHF click here.) All excuses aside, there have been weeks (on end) where I simply haven't cared about my progress in this little competition. Those days, Poodle Dears, are over!
Couch-to-5K Training is still under way...big time. The whole "eating right" process? That's a little slower in coming, but thankfully I'm not alone in this...Philippians 4:13 backs that statement up, right?
So, keep your eyes peeled tomorrow for the return of 5K Friday! Oh, and OHF? Monday is the start of a brand new day in that neighborhood, too...with a possible twist.
Until then, I would love for you all to share your tips, tricks, hints, and helps on how you keep yourself firmly planted on the Eating Right & Exercising Wagon.

Unfortunately I don't really have any good tips because I am always falling off the wagon myself! :)
I don't have any tips either, since I don't even really get ON the wagon....but I do drink lots of water. Lots and LOTS of water. The trick is to drink half your weight in ozs a day. I drink almost 100 oz. But I'm not 200 pounds. So, that helps apparently.
Now if I could just get that exercising part down....
I don't get on the wagon. j/k.
I'm changing my ways. I'm glad that OHF is coming back. Even if it is with a twist, you super-secret blogger, you.
dont worry you can always pick yourself right back up!!! I love this blog, I am a new follower, xxoo
It gets harder as you get older, better to have good eating habits now than when you're my age!
I have no tips. I struggle with it too. I'll support you though! :)
Ummmmmm... <---As I sit here eating a pop tart!!
I'm guilty! You caught me! I KNOW I shouldn't be eating it, but my will power is crappy.
I don't think there is a magic potion. God, how I wish there was. I think it's totally normal to 'fall off the wagon' and then jump back on. I think it's just an ebbing & flowing process.
Think of our emotions, for goodness sake! I compare it to that. Sometimes we're up, sometimes we're down. But we just do our best.
We'll get there girl! I'm down another 2 pounds {thank God!}. The funny thing is--I haven't been stressing it the last few days, but have just tried to cut little tiny things. Apparently that's the key.
Can't wait to read more!
I think one tip is to not beat yourself up over getting off track. The important thing is that you are working on getting back on track. It is a constant battle and you make choices everyday. Good for you for not giving up. This is not a race it is a journey and you are well on your way!
I don't have any tips, but I'll be back to check out all the posts you have on this!
I did recently (as in this past Sunday) stop making sweet tea and consuming it all day. I no longer buy pop either. So I only drink water at home which is a BIG step for me. :)
Thanks for your sweet comments on my blog on SITS day and for Pay it Forward.
Have a GREAT day! :)
I too have fallen off the wagon, again and again, and again for the last few weeks... no months. I'm doing the couch to 5K program too, and am starting it over today. So I'll be encouraging you, and sweating along with you as we struggle with the whole eating right and exercising thing together.
Good luck!
Lol, I love that you call it the exercising wagon! That is great! I too need to get my bum in gear...I jog almost 4 days out of the week, but keep on caving and giving into sugar when stress arrives! Any pumping up for one another would be fantastic. You can do it!!
Right there with you sista! I seem to like falling off the wagon of course because I keep repeating it. What is it they say? If what you are doing isn't working . . . . Have a great day!
Tell em girl..I seriously need to get back on the healthy train.
Maybe Tempting Tuesday should become healthy Tuesday. I try not to buy the bad stuff so it isn't in the house.
Well I'd love to give you tips but I have never found myself even remotely close to wanting to jump on that wagon LOL!! Eating right *pssh* now the exercising I would love to do...But currently can't, back issues :(
