Those of you who have been around GM for even a week have seen a little thing show up
I started 5K Friday as a way to track my progress as I train for my very first 5K. The race is August 22nd, benefiting Ovarian Cancer, and I've been so blessed to learn that I actually enjoy running! Over the past few weeks I've also learned that there are others that are already runners, want to be runners, or simply need a motivator to get things in gear. That's where my wheels really got turning and I decided it was time to expand 5K Friday into something a little bit bigger.
So, with that, I give you something new for GM...5K Friday (Mr. Linky Edition!)
Every Friday I'll post my progress on the Couch-to-5K program, along with a way for others to join in, link up, and make some new friends. You don't have to be a runner to take part, you just have to be ready to get out there and get active, all while getting some support and encouragement from some fantastic bloggers!
I'll add a Mr. Linky at the bottom of each post, and ask that you link your 5K Friday post to GM so that other can find you, comment, and give some encouragement on your progress!
I've also made two different clickable buttons for you to grab. One for your sidebars, and another that you'll add to your 5K Friday posts as an easy way to send others back to share in the link love.

Okay, I didn't know your 5K was in AUGUST. In KS? Girl, you're nuts. LOL But luckily it's only a 5K....do you have a goal time in mind? Did I miss that somewhere along the way? I'm thinking of doing a road run sometime in the next 3 to 6 months. If I DO get that motivated, I'll let you know. :) Right now, I'm just easing back into running from my 2 year baby/nursing hiatus.
Just wanted to stop and say Hi! I have been needing something to get me up and motivated! I think I found it! Thanks!

I am a C25K graduate myself and can tell you that program WORKS. It made me a runner and I love it!
